Removing an original 1970s laminate kitchen with pine cladding was a great joy for the Studio Tonic team. The original kitchen was in the same space, but was not functional.
The brief was to create a light and bright space with lots of storage. This kitchen is the central hub of the house, and is visible from the entry door.
The subdued and sophisticated palette of soft green, timber grain and white 2 pac cupboards worked well with the existing slate floors. The tops are reconsituted stone with custom coloured glass splashbacks.
The upstand hides the sink and provides a breakfast bar for the client's young family, and stand up bar for guests. A true transformation.
This large home is built on a slope over two levels, affording magnificent vistas of the sea and golf course from every corner.
The Normanville house has become a restful weekend retreat for its owners, who leave the hustle and bustle of the weekly grind behind them whenever they arrive. A restrained and sophisticated palette, richly patterned granite feature wall and solid timber detailing, provide glamour and charm throughout.
Our lovely client has commented, "Our home has surpassed all of our expectations in quality and comfort, in no small part due to your inputs."
Nothing has been left to chance here, with every function catered for. Studio Tonic has shown that streamlined and low maintenance can still be gorgeous, welcoming, and luxurious.

LHI Retirement Village
This newly built retirement home is bright and cheerful. Barb and Lyn were keen to install new furniture for their new location, which best suited the scaled down size and configuration of the three bedroomed house.
With custom printed fabrics from Materialised, the lounge room curtains and upholstery are adorned with Florence Broadhurst patterns. The fresh colour theme provides a lift to classic, neutral basics.
With a trusting and brave client, Studio Tonic has shown that independent retirement living can be stylish!
