Novotel Barossa Valley Resort, Reception Lobby
Stylish changes were made at the popular Novotel Barossa Valley Resort where Studio Tonic refurbished the hotel lobby.
Studio Tonic introduced a sophisticated chalet influence to the hub of this busy hotel.
James Murphy, General Manager at Novotel Barossa Valley Resort had a clear vision for the upgrade of the lobby. The main brief was to provide a clear sense of having “arrived” at your special holiday destination with a fresh and welcoming ambience and an immediate feeling of winding down.
Carlton United Brewery Head Office, Adelaide
Carlton United Brewery headquarters in Adelaide are housed in a double storey custom built 950m2 complex. The space encompasses an office accommodating some 40 persons with team meeting facilities, warehousing for sales and promotional material, training and breakout spaces for staff and customers.
The fitout also required a customer interface for CUB to share and promote its beer products and promotional materials with its staff and customers. The team at Studio Tonic worked closely with the newly created branding and style guide to create a fresh template for this important flexible space. Being the first office rollout since the creation of the Fosters Beer arm, it is anticipated that Studio Tonic's concept will be used in future rollouts across the country.

National Wine Centre
The National Wine Centre approached Studio Tonic to assist with the installation of an exciting new system in wine tasting.
The National Wine Centre in Adelaide turned the traditional cellar door tasting into a space age experience with a bank of 14 hi-tech Enomatic dispensing machines able to pour 120 wines at any time in varying volumes. Among the offerings will be some of the South Australia’s iconic drops, like Penfolds Grange and Henschke Hill of Grace.
Studio Tonic provided design and co-ordination assistance for the joinery and installation of the tasting machines and look forward to future samplings!
Novotel Barossa Valley Resort, Convention Centre
The refurbishment design concept by Studio Tonic drew inspiration from the gritty "Be Consumed" tourism campaign and is reflected in the moody and sumptuous pre-function foyer. There was a desire to provide the conference centre with a sense of place within the distinctive environment of the Barossa Valley.
Design features include a lush, striking floral carpet that flows throughout the centre, and pendant lights made from wine barrels straps; both unique designs for Novotel Barossa Valley Resort.
Timber slats on the walls and ceiling also add a sense of warmth and luxury throughout the conference centre. Coupled with funky portable fireplaces and wing backed chairs a real sense of theatre has been created.
